Lift Progress Gym Tracking

Effective Date: June 19, 2026

Lift Progress is a simple workout logging app designed to help users track workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, progress, and personal records. This Privacy Policy explains how Lift Progress handles your information.

By using Lift Progress, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
Lift Progress is designed to be offline-first and privacy-friendly.
At this time, Lift Progress does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or address.
The app may allow you to enter workout-related information, including but not limited to:
  • Exercise names
  • Body parts trained
  • Workout dates
  • Sets, repetitions, and weights
  • Workout notes or progress-related data
  • App preferences such as weight unit settings
This information is stored locally on your device.

2. Local Data Storage
Your workout data is stored on your device using local app storage.
Lift Progress does not currently provide cloud sync, online accounts, or server-based storage. This means your workout data remains on your device unless you choose to export it, share it, back it up, or transfer it yourself.
If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose access to your device without creating a backup, your workout data may be lost.

3. Backup, Export, and Import
Lift Progress may include features that allow you to export and import your workout data as a backup file.
When you export your data, you are responsible for where you save, store, or share that file. Exported backup files may contain your workout history and progress information.
When you import a backup file, the app may replace existing app data with the imported data. You should keep a safe backup before importing or replacing app data.

4. Demo Data
Lift Progress may include an optional demo data feature that allows users to preview the app with sample workout information.
If demo data is loaded, it may replace existing app data. The app should warn you before this happens. You are responsible for creating a backup before loading demo data if you want to preserve your current workout history.

5. Analytics and Tracking
At this time, Lift Progress does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking technologies to monitor you across other apps or websites.
If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscriptions, cloud sync, or account features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is collected and how it is used.

6. Payments and Subscriptions
At this time, Lift Progress does not process payments or subscriptions directly inside the app.
If paid features or subscriptions are added in the future, payments may be handled through Apple’s App Store or another authorized platform. Lift Progress would not directly receive your full payment card details.

7. How We Use Information
Workout information stored in Lift Progress is used to provide app features such as:
  • Logging workouts
  • Viewing workout history
  • Tracking progress
  • Showing personal records
  • Displaying charts and trends
  • Managing exercises and body-part progress
  • Exporting and importing backups
We do not sell your personal data.

8. Sharing of Information
Lift Progress does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Because your workout data is stored locally on your device, it is not shared with us unless you choose to send it to us, export it, upload it elsewhere, or share it with another person or service.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, but because we do not currently operate user accounts or cloud storage, we generally do not have access to your local workout data.

9. Data Security
We care about protecting your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Because Lift Progress stores data locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping your device secure. This may include using a device passcode, biometric lock, secure backups, and safe storage practices for exported files.

10. Data Retention and Deletion
Workout data remains on your device unless you delete it, uninstall the app, reset your device, replace app data through import, or otherwise remove it.
You may delete app data by using available in-app delete features or by uninstalling the app from your device.

11. Children’s Privacy
Lift Progress is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address the issue.

12. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
Lift Progress is a workout logging and progress tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, professional training advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You should consult a qualified healthcare provider or fitness professional before beginning a new exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or other health concern.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of Lift Progress after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
